This August through October, Riccardo Frizza conducts back-to-back performances of Verdi’s La traviata and Puccini’s Tosca at Teatro la Fenice in Venice.
This season’s opening of La traviata marks the Italian maestro’s first time leading Verdi’s 1853 work.
As part of a busy season, Riccardo Frizza conducts Verdi’s Nabucco at the Arena di Verona on June 19, 25 and July 3. He also revisits his celebrated interpretation of Verdi’s Otello at the Festival de Peralada on August 1.
