As part of a busy season, Riccardo Frizza conducts Verdi’s Nabucco at the Arena di Verona on June 19, 25 and July 3. He also revisits his celebrated interpretation of Verdi’s Otello at the Festival de Peralada on August 1.
For the months of August, September and October, Riccardo conducts back-to-back performances of both Verdi’s La traviata and Puccini’s Tosca at the Teatro la Fenice.
On January 29 and throughout the month of February, he returns to the Metropolitan Opera for performances of Donizetti’s Maria Stuarda. To round out the season, Riccardo conducts Bellini’s I Capuleti e i Montecchi at the Gran Teatre del Liceu, during the months of May and June.
