On June 5, Riccardo Frizza returns to Venice for an evening with the Orchestra Filarmonica del Teatro la Fenice. Maestro Frizza, who recently led a the orchestra in a program of Mozart and Mahler, conducts the overture to Glinka’s Ruslan and Ludmila, Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5, and Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G Major with soloist Benedetto Lupo.

Fresh off an acclaimed production of Lucia di Lammermoor at Teatro La Fenice, Riccardo Frizza leads two semi-staged productions of Bellini’s I puritani at Müpa Budapest. Jessica Pratt and Francesco Demuro sing the roles of Elvira and Lord Talbot, with Gábor Bretz as Sir George, Miklós Sebestyén as Lord Walton, and Alexey Markov as Richard Forth.
