Masterclass with Bare Opera, interview with Harvey Sachs


This past winter, Riccardo Frizza led a new production of Norma to the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées and returned to the Metropolitan Opera for Donizetti’s Maria Stuarda. In addition to his activities at the podium, the Italian conductor led a masterclass with singers from Bare Opera, an alternative opera company in New York City, and spoke to music historian Harvey Sachs at the Italian Cultural Institute of New York.

In Conversation with Harvey Sachs at the Italian Cultural Institute of New York


This February, Riccardo Frizza visits the Italian Cultural Institute of New York for a conversation with music historian Harvey Sachs. The free event is part of the institute’s Italian Conductors in New York series and takes place Thursday, February 18 at 6 pm.
